“Numbers can achieve anything.” ~ Ghanaian Proverb

My name is Renett Clough, a student midwife, daughter, mother of one (son), sister, and native of South Los Angeles, California. I'm the founder of Black Mamas Village, created in honor of my mother, Ruby Dean Brown, who transitioned in 2020, birthing all of nine of her children naturally. My experiences include working in the non-profit sector for 19 years, providing social services for under-served/under-resourced families. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Africans Studies. My philosophy focuses on delivering Black and Brown families support, access, and equity options. I believe that all families deserve a village of support as they begin their parenting journey. I'm a Parenting Coach, Full Spectrum, Birth, Postpartum, and Adoption Doula. I offer additional services in Childbirth Education and Placenta Encapsulation. Feel free to contact me on how Black Mamas Village can support you.
